As inhabitants of Earth, we dwell in the realm of TIME. Therefore, it is of great significance to us as we govern our lives accordingly. In Ecclesiastes 3:1, we are told: “to everything there is a season and a TIME”, and are subsequently provided a list of examples as proof.
The iconic 80’s singer Morris Day was famous for popularizing the otherwise ordinary question: “What TIME is it?! One might say this was actually answered centuries before by soldier and patriot Thomas Paine in “The Crisis”, which began: “These are the TIMES that try men’s souls.” In these modern TIMES we could all echo his sentiments, however, the psalmist penned the following impassioned lyric that is applicable across the board regardless of the century, circumstance, or clock. David determined, “I will bless the Lord at all TIMES.”
That means, whether summer time, winter time, war time, day time, night time, war time, peace time, good times, bad times, bed time, break time, closing time, down time, mean time, game time, anyday, anytime, our God is good at every TIME, so there will never be a time we shouldn’t take or make the TIME to give the Lord our praise!
“I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth. . .” Psalm 34:1b
