Women's Mission Union
The Women’s Mission Union (WMU) is a 133 year old auxillary of the Southern Baptist Convention. It is church based, biblically rooted, and mission focused. It was initiated at Bible Way Baptist Church by it’s founding first lady, the late Sis. Darlene Vail.
WMU is an active ministry at Bible Way Baptist Church sponsoring church-wide community activities such as Trunk- Or-Treat, Thanksgiving Baskets, Back-To-School Give-Aways, Easter Baskets, and at Christmas it partners with the local school district to supplies gifts for children in need, etc.
In addition, the WMU operates the church’s Food Pantry every 2nd Saturday of the month.

Adopt-A-Class Project
At Christmas snack and gifts were provided for a local special needs class the WMU adopted through the school social worker.
